At Mindscape, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our focus timer and productivity app.

We collect minimal information to provide you with the best possible experience:
- App Usage Data: We collect data about your focus sessions, including duration, apps blocked, and productivity patterns to help you track your progress.
- Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and app version for compatibility and troubleshooting purposes.
- App Permissions: Mindscape requires certain permissions (Screen Time on iOS, Accessibility Service on Android) to block apps during focus sessions. These permissions are only used for app blocking functionality.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used exclusively to:
- Provide and improve our app blocking and focus timer features
- Track your productivity patterns and focus history
- Sync your settings across your devices (if you use our sync feature)
- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve app performance
- Send you important updates about the app (if you opt-in)
3. Data Storage and Security
We take your privacy seriously:
- Your focus session data is stored locally on your device by default
- If you enable cloud sync, your data is encrypted and stored securely on our servers
- We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit and at rest
- We never sell your personal information to third parties
- We do not track your activity outside of Mindscape
4. App Permissions
iOS Screen Time Permission: Required to block apps during focus sessions. This permission only allows Mindscape to shield apps you've selected. We cannot access your Screen Time data or activity from other apps.
Android Accessibility Service: Required to detect when blocked apps are opened and display a blocking overlay. We only monitor the apps you've selected for blocking and do not collect or access data from other apps.
5. Third-Party Services
Mindscape may use third-party services for:
- Analytics to understand app usage and improve performance (anonymized data only)
- Cloud storage for syncing across devices (encrypted)
- Payment processing for premium subscriptions (we do not store your payment information)
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data at any time through the app settings
- Export your focus session history
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Opt-out of analytics data collection
- Disable cloud sync and keep all data local to your device
7. Children's Privacy
Mindscape is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. Continued use of Mindscape after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

- Open Mindscape and go to Settings
- Tap "Account" and then "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion request
- All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
